Heathrow Expansion and its Environmental Impact Public Meeting

Have you heard about the plans to expand Heathrow Airport?? Find out more about the plans and potential impact on you and your surrounding environment at the public meeting on Tuesday, July 23rd. Richmond Heathrow Campaign has organized this public meeting to inform the public, specifically residents of Kew and Richmond, to ensure that they are aware of the consequences that may come, and are enabled to argue against them. Friends of Ham Lands meet every second month to discuss how residents can preserve and enhance the natural habitats of Ham Lands, they organise volunteer work projects and guided walks to inform about the area so that more people can understand and appreciate this Local Nature Reserve

Arrive around 7 pm and have a cup of tea and network, the meeting starts at 7.15pm

WHY  YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED

To improve habitats for wildlife.
To raise the quality of the whole green space.
To meet and work with other people in your neighbourhood.
There is an issue or concern that needs action.
To work with the Council to improve area, create benefits for all users, engaging the interest for education for both adult and children about nature.
Promote the health benefits of walking in this tranquil area.

Let the friends know if like to come to the meeting and help out with our projects.
